There are some words out there that I find disgusting in image and in pronunciation. For example, words ending with "aggot"; faggot, maggot. Maggot makes me think of maggots which are disgusting in image, and faggot just as demeaning as it is, also reminds me of the word maggot...Yeah. Also, "lotion", "hoi polloi", or "pneu" for those in French or when people pronounce "wash" as "warsh" or "cold" as "code". I think sometimes pronunciation is enough to make a word "ugly".
On the bright side of things, there are also words that I find beautiful and intriguing. For example, "threnody", "crimson", "lilly"...I don't know...Words are fun to play with. (: D)
